Make Your Day a 10!

Last week I had coffee with a great business coach and friend Jennifer. We were discussing how so many (including me) talk about goals, even write them down but how many people get a couple weeks into their “New Years Resolutions” and they quickly go by the wayside… again… ME included!

So she came up with the great idea of what if you broke those goals down to a micro level and just focused on what you could do each day? How would you rate each day?

In other words if you could make a list of a few things that done each day would help you accomplish your goal and you could rate how you did towards those goals each day… How did you do?

A ONE…The day sucked or a TEN…You ROCKED IT TODAY! What are just a few things you could do each day that would set you up for success?

Here are some examples

  1. Exercise
  2. Mediate
  3. Healthy Food Choices
  4. Get dressed Pretty/Professional. For those who are in sales or work for home… this is a BIG ONE!
  5. Make your sales calls/work on projects
  6. Never have lunch alone
  7. Stay within Budget
  8. Clean out/organize one closet/drawer/room
  9. Give out Compliments
  10. Write in Thankful Journal

This has been life changing for me in turning those frowns and frustrations about not making progress upside down!
